I met a house painter the other day. He told me about his costs and and expenses.my math is for the touch up jobs he was discussing – restoring wood buildings in the rust belt with the same color paint – he can paint a house in three days of work, with 5 hour days, for a new profit in the 2,250 range. That’s an easy 150k a year or a very easy 100k. He’s finding sales and marketing pretty easy, no money not much time via Facebook, but worried about the winter, where he is looking for interior paint jobs.
Any thoughts? I expect rain and weather, especially winter, might either those profits down. Still easy in terms of hours. Hard on the body though.
