I have placed over 100 job applications in the last two weeks. I have interviewed just to be denied. Or could never get ahold of anyone to interview. Or everyone is commissions only based. Or they put “we’re hiring” signs up just to not be hiring. Do it again. And again. And again. And again. Im drowning. Im exhausted. It used to be so easy to get a job. I interviewed at Walgreens (I have a LOT of retail experience). The lady told me she’d send me the job offer on Monday. The job offer was a denial letter. I asked for feedback and she said I didn’t have enough open availability. I have FULL open availability and even told her that. I was told it was for a evening shift. I said that was perfect for me. I am walking distance to this damn place. I have key holder experience. I have loss prevention experience. I have so much experience. Which was probably too much for them I guess? I don’t know. I don’t get what I’m doing wrong. I’m tired. This is more of a rant than anything.
