It seems like the claim, or rather Lie, that modern Corporate America spreads, or rather, “Work will set you free”, as it translates to in America, has existed for a long time. Funny how the concept that Corporate America spreads is the same one that was used on German Death camps. It’s almost as if companies are lying to us about working for life truly setting us free.
Edit, i mean the basic concept of it. Look at most rich people’s stories being “oh, we simply worked to get this rich”, that in my eyes very much translates to the “work will set you free” mindset, even when it’s not directly stated. I learned to use context clues to make connections in high school i might add, so i have very much done so in this case. I also fall on the Autism Spectrum, and folk like me were targeted by the NAZI’s and experimented on, and my own family on my mother’s side fled the Poland/Slovak region to escape from them from what i was told growing up.
