Are Job Descriptions Even Real Anymore?

I can't believe how confusing job descriptions have become! I spend hours scrolling through listings, and half the time, they don't even make sense. One job wants 5 years of experience for an entry-level position, and another expects me to have a laundry list of skills that no human could possibly possess. It's like they want a unicorn! And don't get me started on the jargon – “synergize cross-functional teams to leverage core competencies”? What does that even mean? Just tell me what the job actually is! It feels like employers are out of touch with reality. How am I supposed to apply for jobs when I can't even understand the descriptions? Anyone else feeling this way?
