Atheist friend went to company meeting for work and is thinking about complaining.

I got this text from a friend of mine and I asked if I could post it here for them. “So, scenario. Your company decides to have their quarterly meeting at a nearby Pentacostal Church in a little city in Alabama. This church just happens to be your childhood church. You haven't been there for 23 years, and when you walk in, not a great deal has changed, so memories flood in. Now, not only are you in a church, but your guest speaker that is there is trying to entice you to give to a local charity (United Way, which I already donate), and has a doctorate in ministry. I told them to contact HR, but they set up the meeting. They're planning on going to the FFRF, so what else should they do and expect?

Considering it's Alabama, they're in a small town and they're atheist, they're probably going to open themselves up for potential retaliation, as they are the only open atheist at their work.

Advice is welcome.

Thanks!
