My family is sick( I'm sick) with flu. However I'm out of points at work. My family is miserable and needs to go to a doc today. So guess I'll be getting fired for taking care of family.
Yep doctor note doesnt count, they give points for every absence other than fmla. Cant take fmla for the flu unless severe cases. Also note my wife miscarried in September and I had to miss for that.
Now that was covered by fmla. Except the hospital forgot we existed, and my employer s (multi million dollar company) fax machine died so no one got the fmla application.
It's not all bad though. Atleast I can finally tap into that 401k. Their shit plan had kept me locked out of it unless I quit.(locked meaning no loans and etc) . Which I'm also drowning financially so.
