I work in a large corporation. I'm 100% WFH because of my recent illness. I have a lot of leave but i'm chosing to continue working despite going through chemo and some nasty sides. Ive spoken to my manager about it and he said he will support me but its like deep down he doesn't care? Im the only senior person in my team and he bombards me with complicated work all day. Why dodesnt he even ask me hwo im doing? He just seems to care about KPIs i could litreally be dead in a few years. WTF is this shit? is this normal? i feel so lonely sad and unsupported in my role. I get bombarded with complicataed tasks feel overwhelmed and try and work whilst feeling like shit.

I'll try and keep this simple. Daughter was overpaid due to the hourly rate being higher than agreed upon. Daughter's first job so she's learning how to read a paycheck stub, etc… Boss tells her we will reduce your rate below what you should be making to make up the difference until the amount balances out. The problem… this next paycheck the boss withheld the entire check. Big fat $0.00. From what the I read online in my state employer must pay minimum wage during the period of the balance being paid off. I am beyond livid and this bitch fucked with the wrong parent. I don't want to to be a helicopter parent, but fucking my daughter out of her entire pay is beyond fucked in my opinion.

0230 at a hostel in Poland I just had an ephinany. If say everyone in this community as a collective. Responded to every job they were approached for but weren't interested in with “sorry but with the current cost of living, the wage offered is too low, goodbye” could these words, overtime, improve the wages of future employees ?

The setting is a bar/restaurant. My question is, should every employee make the same amount or should different positions have different wages? EX. Dishwasher makes $12 Fry cook makes $15 Im not sure about other positions, I am only going by the listing I see on indeed. Should a fry cook make more than a dishwasher or should they both be making $15? Or if they hire multiple dishwashers should each dw make the same while each fry cook makes $15? Sorry if question is confusing. I sometimes have a difficult time phrasing my words appropriately.
