Does anybody have an experience with temp to hire and the process you went through? I heard stories of other employees being at a job and never got hired on. I know one that’s about to leave after completing her 90 days. I feel as if temp agencies only make bank when the actual company suits the benefit of getting worker in. And make more profit.

Manager called me on the phone and said that I was being let go, and then later emailed me and asked for confirmation of resignation. I thought based on the phone call I was fired so I 'confirmed' over email. I later learned this was a tactic to fuck up the severance that I would be owed had I been fired. I'm so fucking tired. I recently graduated college and I'm making $13/hr in food service because that's quite literally the only job I can find. My half of the rent (for a one bed) is over $900, I'm barely making it. I work exactly 40 hours each week but sometimes I open, sometimes I close, sometimes I clopen. I don't get breaks even during a 9/10 hour shift because there's usually 1-3 people working and I'm the one in charge. Maybe a 15 that's closer to a 5, if I'm lucky.
