I started my new job a month ago and my coworker is trying to be a control freak with me. I have two jobs that both take roughly an hour each that we should do simultaneously if we can. The other day when I tried to help out and keep up on everything my coworker screams at me “What are you doing? Get out of my space.” I said I was trying to help and she goes “How about you just let me take care of this from now on?” Today, we're super busy and she had to do something for like 3hrs. My supervisor asked me if I could help out and of course I said sure. I go ask my coworker if she wants help. “No I'm fine. You screw things up. I don't know how you do it?” Okay whatever…. meanwhile my supervisor asks again “Have you…

Flexibility is key
My morale is being steamrolled because I can't go to the doctor ( a twenty minute telehealth session) not for work purposes that matter but to tell us that we can give our paychecks to our company. Like email me and let me WORK.
Just started this work at home job, I desperately wanted to keep it for the remote benefit and high pay but the work is awful. They just gave me majority modules to learn the material. The material and system is still insanely frustrating and confusing to navigate and it’s hard trying to learn it when you’re being yelled at by customers on the phone. I’m tired of fast food jobs. I fear working with annoying drama seeking people. Please what can I do that’s not going to eat away at me and make me feel depressed.
An INTENSE 17 hour day of work
So the CEO of AMEX wants you to know exactly how he spends his days. Working harder than you could possibly ever imagine. Reading emails while being driven to work is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to the vast river of efficiency and hard work this sack of sacks swims in daily. ANYONE can make $48 million if they just work as hard as he does. I mean 3 hours of answering emails without oversight!? Madness! I'm sure his fingers bleed nightly. And don't forget to stop by the employee cafeteria to break up your day and show the little folks you're there!
I'm a US citizen and live outside of the country (my expenses are about $1000 / mo total), and was wondering if it would be possible to get a part-time job as a front-end developer, that would pay a decent wage. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from a U.S. university, but couldn't find any type of remote-job as a ME, and I wanted to learn javascript and try my hand at front-end programming. (I liked coding back in university, and have experience programming in Matlab / Visual Basic / Fortran, so I believe I could pick it up decently quick). Are there part-time front-end developer jobs out there, or is almost everything full-time?
Law question non compete agreement?
Hey there can someone refer me to get some help I recently quit my job and am now transferring to grooming and training. They threatened to basically sue me. “… we will file a claim up to and including an injunction.” because of a non compete. I dont plan on stealing any clients, as long as I do that they cant just outright sue me for working with a past employee can they? (dog daycare and grooming) thanks.
NJ labor question…
I’m not going to into the hostility or moronic management at my full time, but…. Over 10 days ago a man with a mask and tactical vest came into the building we work in after 4 pm and cops were called. He took photos of the doors and fobs. Don’t know what else happened but they are trying to keep the building secure now as they believe he used to work for the firm on the first floor but that’s all we know. My employer has yet to notify anyone… we all work on the road during events… the only reason I know is from another employee who was in the office at the time…. Is it legal to hide this from staff?
Applying to a new branch
I applied to transfer from one branch to another at my job and I have to re-interview. One of the questions is why do I want to transfer? What is a good response for that question? The reason I want to transfer is my boss is a liar and she and I clash because of this. I don't want to bad mouth anyone to the new boss who I have worked with and is extremely nice.
