So this has been a delightful year in my life. At the end of January, I had a hip replacement and died, briefly during surgery. Only took two weeks off work, because in my company, if you aren’t working, for whatever reason, you don’t get any sales leads. Leads typically take a minimum of 2 months to come to fruition, as this is a high end sale. Came back to work while doing physical therapy and visiting various doctors to determine what tried to end me during the first surgery. End of March I have my second hip replacement-both hips were bone on bone, so this wasn’t optional. This time I take 3 weeks, because I’m still recovering. So, no leads for those 3 weeks. The second day I returned to work I was called in with HR to discuss my subpar performance during the first part of the year.…

Hey guys. I have trouble checking out on weekends and work gets me stressed out Has the subreddit got a recommended Movies and TV list?

I work at a nice gym as a trainer. My boss, who is the owner, left his snot rags all over our gym and even threw one at me after I asked him if he was sick. I obviously got sick and took yesterday off. He didn't bother to check in with me at all and saw me at the gym today in a mask obviously struggling to train. He left after one hour (an hour he worked out and I trained) and said nothing about me being sick, then he left another snot rag on the gym floor! I can't wait to be out of this place.

Tired of the bullshit. Nothing really happened today but I wasn’t planning to show up tomorrow anyways. Just clocked out and went home. Took them 40 minutes to realize I left lol. Anyways I was planning this for quit awhile. Yesterday they had a meeting saying I was awful for 30 minutes but the boss left after that. I really only wanted to screw her over so I left the next day when she was working. Laughing.

Literally what the title says, this is a pretty small annoying situation we have here, we got a manager here who doesn't like it when we want it on a different station, stating that the radio is a neutral thing for everyone to listen to even tho i know me and others absolutely hate it, cause all they do is play pink, taylor swift and ed sheeran all day. rant over.

so you’re telling me that employers purposely try to pay their employees as minimal as possible and then service industries such as salons, restaurants, bars also expect the same individuals who barely get paid to pay THEIR EMPLOYEES because the billion dollar ceo cant handle a pay cut? i can’t stop thinking about this and it boils my blood. i CANT afford to pay YOUR EMPLOYEES when i have my OWN SHIT. and then let’s not forgot the big corporations that fired hundred of employees because instead of having 50 billion in revenue they only got 30 billion in revenue and have to cut costs while they are STILL billionaires regardless while they just fired people who need the job to survive and feed their families. GOD i hate america. how have we done nothing and continue to let this happen??
