My first boss at my current job said to me my first day when I asked about breaks and lunches “I don’t let our team take them in our department” and I said “damn that’s crazy, anyways I’ll see you in 15.” Since then, I always covered everyone’s breaks, she’s no longer with the company and I got promoted. I shouldn’t have had to make that step as a newbie so people who have been there for years could finally go sit down or take a piss for 15 min every four hours.

Today on March 1st, 2022, I was greeted by a District Manager named Greg (he did not provide us with his last name, but claimed to oversee 5 other BK stores in the Tampa Bay area) who promptly insulted my wife and I during our interviews at the Fletcher Ave location here in Tampa, FL. ​ My wife experienced inappropriate touching and language, including inappropriate touching of the shoulders, arms, obliques and !!!the small of back nearing the bottom!!!… and over-touching of hands while she was holding her pocketbook in front of him, seated, and facing him during her interview then hugging her after the interview was complete. ​ She was applying for a crew position and this man bragged about selling his restaurant, not sleeping with anyone but his wife (supposedly, according to him, his wife was and is the only woman in his life that he had kissed…

Company changed 401k to a new company. Assured everyone that everyone will have accounts there from now on unless they opted to change to a company of their choice. The app that kept track of paystubs, newsletters, surveys, etc kept going down so everyone was having issues for months and in many cases, a couple years, despite repeated compaints by several employees. Was told that you can't close this 401k account down unless you quit. Unrelated issues forced me to quit. Long story short, my account was never transferred. Heard thru the grapevine that they (the 401k company) gamble our money on the stockmarket. Ppl I know lost 1k so far. Go to look at mine which conveniently works now. All my 401k is gone. No record it even existed. No way to prove it since they went digital and stopped printing paper stubs. I'm about to snap.
