I experienced harassment from my direct manager on at least three separate occasions which created for a very uncomfortable experience going to work. It still bothers me. It bothers me even more when I brought up the situations to the Head of HR and the response I received from explaining what was happening. “Well, you should be flattered. You were receiving a compliment from your manager” was the exact response I got from the Head of HR when I brought up what was happening. The first time my manager stopped me at work was near the elevators when I was leaving the floor to go on a break. She stopped to say that she had saw me going for a run over the weekend and said she was going to stop me to talk with me but didn't as I was already in motion from running. Then she shifted the…
How to resign with malace?
I have recently moved from a shit job to a decent one. If anyone has any tips on how to put my resignation letter together I would be grateful. My points are these: •Trained by a sex offender with a 13 year warrant out for abusing his daughter (I am a survivor of childhood sexual assault) •Part time employee while regularly working 40-60 hrs a week •No benefits •Loss of almost all contracts due to bad management (aka no work) •Low wage •Bad communication Advice?
If we don't have more people open up their availability then it forces us to hire more associates to cover those shifts that can't be worked or when people take too much time off. That results in less hours for others. -scheduling manager This was said to me when I reminded them that I was no longer available on Fridays. I had previously given them five days of availability and they had me scheduled for about 9hrs a week average. Im not taking time off so I dont know why they said that and clearly being 70% available to them is more than they need from me…, I let them know of my availability change and they shoot back that bs like its my problem. Just got a text that Im no longer needed for my scheduled shift for tomorrow. Which means Ill probably keep changing my availability until it's…
It is REALLY hard being in front of a computer 8/9 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am also SO done working like this.
You might ask why even do the interview, well I came this far and something might open up in the future that is more conducive to me. The job would be 3 hours from where I live. Several people that work there were brought in from other locations but they all have travel trailers to live. I don't have that option and motels are too expensive and an apartment is out of the question. This company, like all others, desperately needs people. It would pay well but not well enough for me to relocate. The town I live in has next to no career opportunities for me. Been doing doordash since covid began but that's not stable anymore. I really don't know what to do.
Our whole system is against the human.
From schools to credit scores, to felonies it's all predicated on the assumption that the individual will not change and will need to “qualify” certain conditions to be “considered” for that loan/job position/college. Had bad grades in highschool due to ADHD or depression? A period of your life where you were still a child? Too bad only community college and military or trades. Bad spending habits? Meh you'll never change we'll reward you to get into debt with more debt, make you an indebted slave. Committed a crime when you were a young stupid teenager? Sorry caveman go work outside, I will not trust you inside my stor, criminal. It's all bullshit! It makes my blood boil, it goes against the human Nature and spirit. In the end it's one giant hellish entity being fueled by countless human lives. If God is real and there is a heaven and hell,…
So a little background. I am a mechanic/operator for a CNC company on Michigan. I have been very loyal to the company for about 5 years now and I give them everything I can offer. Back in March of 2020 we shit down our facility due to lock downs and such. We were out for about 8 weeks. Then we started getting call backs to return to work. Half of us were called to continue, the other half of 30 was not. We were not anticipating the exponential amount of work we had dispute the circumstances. Quickly we fell behind and back couldn't keep up with demand. They refunded to bring back the old employees that continued to be laid off because they were “toxic.” Quickly the people that worked became burnt out because we were working 60 hour days. Our floor supervisors fought and fought upper management to let…
