The Inevitable Revolution

Hello and I hope all is well. This is an unprecedented time of connectivity between us as humans. And this collective of like minded individuals is nothing short of amazing. The potential to make real, actual change seems to be at its greatest through this connectivity. Many of us are starting to become cognizant of the idea of Human. The lockdowns and the businesses closing and the jobs lost and missing of loved ones has proved to be a assiduous time. So much so that I dare say, perhaps a silver lining may be explored. For the first time. Certainly within our lifetime. Something happened. The world stopped. And for the first time we had an opportunity to do, nothing. Acceptable to switch jobs after a year?

I have switched jobs twice in the past year. I got a new job moving countries at the start of 2022 then switched to a job more in my field 6 months later. I was then laid off in a downsize after 6 months when I got the job I have now. Recently inclined to believe that there will be a very slow/stagnant progression in terms of compensation and career so considering a switch at the year mark. Would these switches be frowned upon? FWIW: I currently work in SaaS in a role that combines business and technical elements. Certifications are sought after in certain platforms and having these is considered a bonus, will be pursuing multiple before switch

Looking for some guidance on my situation. 6 years into a dealership at 28YO just kinda got messed around and I need help.

After 5 Years in sales, as a Salesperson I got promoted to Sales Manager and actually enjoyed it for a while. It got worse in worse with departments changing rules and blaming us for not knowing rules they would randomly make, such as I had to start doing HR job for pay role, we needed to do 2 points in the back on leases or finance wouldn't do the deal so we would loose business to other local dealers. turn rate of upstairs was insane to the point every single deal plates were expiring to a point my partner just quit and went to another dealer and left me solo for about 3 months. My first year at the desk I didn't even break 100k after months of 300k average F/B gross which I would even make more on the sales floor. I let it happen because I wanted the…
