I'm a student assistant for HR and I've been tasked with updating some of our forms. Yesterday I was going through some shared folders to find our official logos and stuff to help me build the forms. In the midst of those folders was one that has the CEO's user ID on it. There were probably about 20 files in there and I only had the stomach to look through like four once I realized what was happening. I saw a long document of reasons not to get the Covid vaccine, some Christian scriptures and devotionals, one about how the country is run by the deep state and the people fighting against it are Qanon and that's why JFK was assassinated, and one super long one that was something about a government experiment “humanizing” mice with stem cells. I am struggling to get into a proper routine and I'm on month 3 of unemployment which has been tough as I'm constantly just thinking about scrolling through every job board daily. What does a day in your life look like whilst searching for work?
So I’m currently enrolled into college and I start towards the end of august but I’m also working a full time job. I told my employer that I was going to be missing two days out of the week every week for classes. One day is half a day and the other day is a full day so it’s not like I’m gonna be missing a whole lot of work. They told me that I would have to go to flex or use my vacation days or go to flex work which I really don’t want to do. I’m married and have a son so I can’t loose my benefits the entire time I’m school but I also can’t miss school. Has anyone gone through a similar situation like this and what did you do??

I already get behind in my work as it is. Between the constant flowing emails I am getting from clients, mortgage companies, banks, my boss, and my coworkers. The 50 gazillion phone calls I have to answer (because it is my job to answer all the incoming calls unless I am already on one. Often I barely have time to take a freaking breath between calls.) I have to call and text all our clients who are late on their payments so they don’t cancel. I do almost all the data entries and changes. I am on the front line when it comes to disgruntled clients. And lately it has been A LOT because of…
