I live in the state of Wyoming and have been struggling in poverty for some time trying to work out a new plan to change things around. I abruptly quit my previous employer for continuing to cut hours, promoting poor conditions, and sexual harassment of female staff in general. In fact, they were already low staff and I waited toward peak times to quit. Currently I'm homeless, for now, but luckily, I've been working on an alternative plan for awhile and it's finally coming together. I'll be both moving and starting a new job (overnight warehouse) in Denver Colorado which will give me access to a lot more resources and hopefully a complete life turn around. What I mean is that we cannot talk back to our bosses. Even though they disrespect us, belittle us or are condescending. So many times I've wanted to say to them “FUCK YOU” and “FUCK YOUR 15 MINUTES CRASH COURSE JOB TRAINING “. One boss told us in a meeting “I'll be leaving to the other warehouse. Please behave ” while laughing at what he said. I wanted to tell him “we're all fucking adults here Shawn. You should trust that we'll do our jobs”. I think I'll start talking back on my next job. Just my two cents.

I’m at a job that supports something unethical and it’s been making me miserable. I’ve been there 6 months. Out of the blue, I got offered a job somewhere with amazing benefits, and I would be working for a good cause and the pay is good. Seems like a healthy culture too and is unionized so I’m accepting it when the offer is in writing. I’m taking PTO soon so I plan to give notice toward the end of PTO. I need some buffer time between jobs for mental health and as a result, I think I’d only be able to give them 7 days of work even though my notice period is “technically” 3 weeks. Is this unethical to my supervisor? We aren’t super close but I like him enough.

One of the last things I did at my old job was train the owner's son to make monthly sales advertisements on their business FB pages.. I was very reluctant to do it because the owners family is a bunch of rich d-bags who don't even need to work since their dad is worth 20-50 mil. The owner himself comes into work and browses porn all morning and leaves at noon just to say he went to work(I guess). Every now and then he'll go over some financials with the company president. I just thought it was funny. When I worked there and when people(even some long time employees) quit, the company president would always have us change everything, lock them out of everything to make sure we didn't get hacked or something. So I am not overly fond of my job. The expectations are ramping up and we're headed toward a massive event that will likely eff up the next 5-10 years of my industry. I am tired. I want out. Problem is you can't leave without finding a new job first and the job hunt is disgusting. I don't want to take a pay cut (I get paid really well), but I will likely have to. And the job hunt is exhausting; every job post in my field has a hiring req for what I assume is an actual Avenger, no listed pay or hours and requires you to fill out your resume on their shitty website after you submit your actual resume. How do I get energized to try and keep up the fight? I come home after my 12-15 hour shift tired and barely have the energy to heat…

The head of HR where i work completely sucks. She is always fucking up payroll. She “forgot” Juneteenth was a holiday. (But this isnt the first time she “forgot” about a holiday) she always “forgets” to pay us correctly. (The theory is that shes either fucking the owner or is blackmailing him) I went to the BBB. But they only handle cases of discrimination. Unfortunately, being bad at your job isnt discrimination. I like the people i work with and i think the job would be pretty decent if she didnt work here. We are supposed to get paid at 3pm on Friday.
