I know I have to do what I must(buying stuff, Amazon, ect ect), which are all mega corporations that pay their workers pennies while they make millions and billions. Meawhile of course we're stuck, and they get richer. I came across this tiktoker who asked if we really knew about the toothpaste isle. Please all work from home buddies send help! Where do u work and where can I apply??? I (34F) work in a very small office space of 5 ppl (and by small I mean 3 of them are the boss, his wife, and his son). This was a week ago and I went to pee and unfortunately looked at my phone for 2 seconds while I closed the door, looked up to see huge chucks of human feces ON the toilet seat. I now had the choice to leave it and not say anything and have the next person think I did it (and hold the pee I had for 3 hrs), go out blasting and blame the other associate who did not do this or go out accusing my boss or a family member of doing that. Middle management is a joke
So, as of last night my employment as a contracted employee ended. However, for some reason, the managers both failed to notify me of this. No emails, no texts, no calls. Not the first time this happened though, since another coworker went through similar, however, they extended his contract twice. But, they didn't bother to tell him both times. Funny enough, im not mad that I wasn't given an extension considering I was one of their best workers, and they clearly need more employees right now, they were willing to provide bonuses for new hires. But, the fact that they got two clowns that cant communicate with each other, nor with their employees or actually do anything their supposed to sometimes, is kind of a frustrating to say the least.

First of all, please forgive me for thinking this way. I know there are tons of folks who got laid off this year and this might come off as being very disrespectful. I am truly truly sorry for everyone who were laid off. I know having a job is a blessing and I honestly feel this immense guilt as well wishing that I were laid off. I have been at this job for an year now. This is my first job after graduation and I absolutely hate it. The $$ is alright but I am always stressed out. The job is sooooooo boring and I have been struggling for a while now. There was no onboarding or training and I was just handed many projects one after another. I am so stressed about this job that last week i ended up having 3 seizures in one day. I have lost…

So up until this past Monday, my wife (and all of her other Co workers) were under the impression they only had off on July 4th. Monday came around and her boss made the decision he wants to close on the 3rd to give everyone an extra day. Cool, right? Well it turns out he's not paying them for the extra day off, and the only option is to lose 8 hrs or use a vacation day. But he also wanted to rub it in everyone's face about some lavish vaca he's taking and needed more time away from the office. Wtf man?
