Hello everyone! I’m would just like to warn y’all about a new company going up in Missouri called Wally’s. Fuck. Them. They do not know how to employ people with disabilities, and I was fired for being sick(with pcos at the time, no idea I had it). They have no security, you’re overworked constantly, and too bad if you can’t do something! I have a phobia of heights and being on ladders, and my boss got pissed at me for not being able to do my tasks. They are also not very liable as a company, and I don’t recommend working for them anytime soon! They get thousands of dollars worth of merchandise stolen, and when my mother could not work a few days because she had lupus, they stopped putting her on the schedule entirely, so she quit too. This place is utter shit, and seriously, fuck the people…

My company doesn't want to pay full time hours, benefits, etc. They just want to do the bare minimum and continue to be short staffed and message me asking if I'd like to cover. If you want me full time, give me benefits and pay me for it.
I left a job back in October due to some issues with checks bouncing, and some conflicts with the owner in trying to obtain unpaid wages. She wasn’t pleasant and it was a hassle to get the bounced checks back, but I did. However, she told me the remainder of my pay would be mailed to me. It never was. I’m still owed roughly $600 for hours worked in October that I was never paid. In late November, I reached out to the NYS Dept of labor and filed a claim for unpaid wages. In December, I received a letter from them stating they were investigating my case, gave me a case number, but the number to call was the main line which just took me to unemployment benefits and spun me in automated circles when I called to check on my claim. So far I have heard nothing further…
Wages aren’t pushing up prices
We should be working less, have a better quality of life, and be organizing ourselves differently with tech.
