I have used Will Smiths interview monologue from Pursuit of Happiness in every interview

And it works everytime. Boomers eat that shit up. You gotta roleplay as a starving man who needs the job to feed his kid to get a job in this economy.

Reddit gained popularity through free labor (unpaid mods), user-generated content, and third-party apps/extensions. However, the CEO now aims to exclude those responsible for its success. REDDIT should compensate third-party apps and MODS instead.

The CEO of Reddit is exploiting people by attempting to exclude the very individuals and elements that have contributed to the platform's popularity. Reddit owes a large part of its success to the unpaid labor of moderators who tirelessly manage and curate the communities within the platform. These dedicated individuals invest their time and effort to maintain the quality and integrity of Reddit, without any financial compensation. Additionally, a significant portion of Reddit's content is generated by its users, who share their ideas, stories, and creations, making the platform vibrant and engaging. Furthermore, the CEO's desire to sideline third-party apps and extensions that enhance the user experience indicates a disregard for the valuable contributions of developers who have enriched Reddit's functionality. How would life be if everyone in the world shared the same values and sentiment as all those within this sub?

Just curious if any of you could outline what life would be like world wide if every human shared the same exact sentiment. Speak to technology available, food sources, housing, infrastructure, protection, schooling, etc. If the world felt work was not a means to an end and everyone shared the same “end” what is that? Describe it please. Then imagine having a child that suddenly fell I’ll at 3 AM and you need to find someone who precisely doesn’t share your sentiment and you learn that person doesn’t exist.

Controlling B**** of a Boss

God, where to begin? I guess it started a week ago, when my boss (let's call her Alice), refused to let an employee go home… because his daughter that was in the military died. Gets only worse from there. See, I asked her about this the next day she was over, and she said that “Ben left in the end”, but I pushed her and I knew well that it wasn't Alice herself that let Ben leave, myself and another coworker did after she left (early, I might add). When I pushed this, she said “Are you trying to reprimand me?” She gave me a laundry list of reasons she didn't let Ben leave, from needing an obituary to having to approve it through her boss, it was all BS. I dismissed myself with a “I guess that's that, ma'am” and left. But this wasn't enough for her. She called…

no podcast or music at work X-X

so im unsure if i said. but i ended getting a job at pricerite Works crappy but will do for now :3. but one of the thing si didnt realise hurts more than i thought it would. no headphones/earbuds at all. they just Dont allow it not even earbuds to listen to lo-fi on Low it sucks. and funny yet im Great at multitasking. its not that i cant do it. and to some extent. i work better with them. scanning items. and making sure the customers are happy and all are easy. too easy even i guess the way to describe it is. its not hard. its boring and tedious and i dont like to deal with mean peeps. i feel if i had a podcast/video/documentry/lo-fi playlist to listen to. work would be much less grueling. ugh. guess i wanted to vent some?. anyone else on the same boat?…
