So I applied for this job and got one of those digital interview requests. That's never a good thing to start off with in the first place and I usually don't bother doing these, but I liked the company. So thought I'd give it a go. So I started the interview, answered my first question, and then it just gave me an error message saying it couldn't upload the video and my internet is bad (which is ridiculous as it works for my current job and Netflix, etc.). I just gave up after that. Now my question is, are those providers of digital interviews liable for having crappy tech that ruins people's careers.. as in my opinion they are liable and should be held accountable for the crap they put out and the money they potentially make applicants lose… is there any class-action lawsuit out against those companies already, or…

I am a security guard at a hotel and my boss is a horrible person. He’s rude and mean to everyone so I want to mess with him before I leave next month but something legal lol. I could care less about the job.

A temp agency offered me a position with a contractor who later rescinded thier job offer after the background check had taken too long. This is after i was told to put in a 2 weeks notice at my old job, whom ive left about a month ago now. Is this normal? Can background checks really take too long to complete for some employers?
Manager calls me “junior”
Started a new job few months ago and my manager calls me Junior sometimes instead of saying my name. It’s really weird. Am I over thinking this or what.
Forced annual leave with 1 hour notice
I have clients that keep cancelling sessions for various reasons. Usually if a client cancels then they still pay and i'll do admin instead. However, my boss has now decided that if they cancel then that time will be taken out of my annual leave. I know that a job can force you to take holiday but everything I've read has said you need at least 2 days notice. I argued the point with my boss and they said my notice starts now and if any of my future sessions are cancelled then that'll come out of my holiday. The problem is that I don't find out a session is cancelled untill about an hour before. Surely that notice isn't acceptable? Does anyone know any good sources that I could use to back me up? The Gov website says 2 days notice but nothing about what constitutes a notice period.…
I have to rant
This is currently my first day working as a sampler at Walmart (on break as I write this) and to be honest, so far I feel irriated, I'm literally so fucking tired of people expecting new employees to automatically know how to do everything. My co-worker was just going on and on about my performance like it isn't my first day, I'll make some mistakes because I'm literally fucking new and just got here today. I really want a work from home just doing customer service but every single job I've came across required me to have some customer service experience which I don't really have, I only took this job because I like the schedule and need the money.
Hello, Just as the title says: I've been fired. I've never been fired before so this is interesting to me. I was being trained in a family-owned food business. I was one of the many trainees they took on. But just last night, I was removed from everything related to my job. No one has directly talked to me about this. I genuinely do get the sense that I've been fired though. If you don't believe that's the case, I'd like to hear from your perspective. However, I'm incredibly confused. This is not my first time working but this is my first time working in a fast-paced industry — the food industry. My first official day of working was opening day. There was about a couple hundred people that came in. I thought my higher ups were understanding that I was just flustered because it was opening day & there…
