Im sick and f÷$king tired of these vampires taking our lives, freedoms and hope. General strike, buy canned food, prepare for power outtages, no job is too essential to strike. Lets grind the US economy to a screeching halt! Main industries that should really double super strike are Dock workers, Rail workers, and Pilots. And if a few vampires get staked in the process im not too broken up over it.

SHIT THAT WAGE SLAVES SAY
Just over two years ago, I finally got a raise to $15/hr from the $11 I was making. My husband at the time was working at a grocery store making $12. That bump to $15 was enough to immediately cash in our savings and move out of my Father in Law's house into our own place in 2021. Our only big purchases since have been a ~$3,000 vacation (pre paid and all inclusive and only an hour from home.) and we traded in our early-oughts Mercedes for a mid-10s Camry and pay about $300/month for that. Here we are just two years later. Same apartment. I make ~$18/hr + commission with plenty of overtime. He makes $20/hr. We are both solidly set into skilled careers with large, extremely stable companies in industries where we aren't necessarily threatened by AI. We're in the same apartment, but paying rent has never gotten…

“socialism bad”
Does this sound like a lie?
Hi, I just started a new shift on Sundays. I’m a caregiver and I’m taking care of an elderly lady. The daugher in law goes to work while I’m here and she just asked me if I can take her 16 year old daughter to work? It would be 20 extra minutes on the road for me. This is something that is obviously not my job duty. I’m thinking of telling her the car I’m using is my boyfriend’s. He’s just letting me use it to come to work. And that he’s very crazy about that Camaro and would be upset if I’m using it outside of work. Does this sound like a made up story or what should I tell her without sounding rude. I should add that one of the main reasons I started this job is because it’s 8 minutes from my house
The hours suck so bad. I've had the same schedule for 3+ years. I've never asked for time off, I've never been late, I've never gotten in trouble. I'm a stereotypical goodie two shoes type employee who was given a door key. Recently, I realized how much I dread my job. I'd say I borderline hate it. The hours I work interfere with my personal life. I honestly feel horrible because I feel like I don't spend enough time with my family and friends. My schedule is so opposite of my loved ones. I don't get to do anything with anyone. A lot of my side projects don't ever get completed, not even things I desperately need to do. I always work the weekend, I work 45 hours a week in total, sometimes 50/55 depending. Same schedule for years, like I said. I've never lost hours, I've only ever been…
