I am hoping mods keep this up, if they do not..well the rest of reddit is correct about how they are viewed. I am a college student who has been fortunate enough to make a lot of money while doing it, as well as use the GI Bill and get lucky with some work options. Compared to your average 32 year old, even out of school, I have a lot of money. This post most likely will catch some flak by many here, there are a lot of people in this sub who spend their day looking to rip on anyone because they have to find some way to gain back control of their lives (somewhere) because they obviously have no control over their work. Can this be done?
There should be a company like Black Rock Investments, except it's a charity. Call it White Rock. They would pool resources, buy good property and then let people rent it at cost, build equity so they can increase their credit and offer lease to own. Other than funding, what's stopping us from doing this?

This insanity of an application
I found this on Monster, and was able to hit Quick Apply, they sent me an email to this application. There's nothing here about the actual job. It's just a bunch of questions about my gender identity or who im into. They have no reason to ask this sort of thing, and im pretty sure it's illegal to ask this? This was a CAD job at a plumbing company, and no, I didn't fill that crap out.
Had to take time off while recovering
I (F24) got admitted to the hospital about two weeks ago. Because of the nature of my admission, I was required to take a minimum of a month off work for recovering- as I’m a cleaner and can’t do heavy lifting of be around the cleaning products necessary to use. I still have at least two more weeks off to recover and let me say: I can’t remember the last time I LIVED like this. I still wake up in a panic “OH MY GOSH, I’m late for work! My alarm didn’t go off!” But as soon as reality sets in, I can breathe. I lay back down and relax. Most times the pressure of not going into work is enough to make me feel rested enough to start my day early and not hit snooze a bunch. I fill my day with so much more now that I don’t…
