Complete and utter dread
Not happy at my current job. Been looking around to try and find something else. I've never felt so helpless in my life. Everything has terrible hours that they claim are flexible. Competitive pay that's way below a livable wage. I feel like a character in an apocalyptic movie who just saw a mushroom cloud in the distance and you see the blast coming. Like what the hell. Their seems to be no hope. Rents high, houses are unattainable and even fucken groceries are insane. An if you want to try and budget to make it by better get use to eat white rice and hot dog weiner soup so you can afford to pay rent and not have any social life whatsoever. Man I feel fucked.

I've posted here before about my difficulty finding a job and got a dm asking why I don't jump from one to another until I find my fit. I have and I use to be a job jumper the year after college. I jumped from one place to another in a few months time I was at 4 different places. I did social media management web development and digital content creation. The first time I did social media management and content creation (never gained training) I was employed about a month and 2 weeks, I got covid 2 weeks after starting (big fuckin bird flipped my way after 2 years) took 2 weeks to recover in that time I was still working just from home. I am slowly ceasing to tip, because my assumption is that like every other cost tipping is already baked into the price like every other cost a for-profit incurs on top of the already over-inflated markup, while CEOs, executives, and shareholders via management pay labor the legally allowable minimum.

My boss has recently asked me to update the company website and add new members of staff on…..
