I am currently a govt sector worker with a valid workman compensation case. I had been pleading my case to lighten my workload while seeking treatments. He is well aware also saying this 'others are training and teaching'. I was upset with him and told him well being should be first then workload later on. I simply asked to lighten my workload but it's not happening. My boss was just too focused on workload over persons well being even if medically documented. This is a direct violation. I already requested a transfer out to other group (former). My union rep was telling me I was too judgmental but not really. Requested to change union rep which I have a meeting tomorrow morning. Sorry to rant and I am counting down to when I can actually retire. Its just that the world cares about gettjng work done over persons' wellness and…

I don’t think Tom would agree
Just witnessed a great thing
So, where I work, my office is upstairs, and there is a little cafeteria downstairs. In the cafeteria, there is a convenience kiosk thing that sells snacks etc. Went to grab a soda, and the Warehouse team is having a meeting…. I over heard the Manager ask “So, who has the spare time to help out with (some shipping related thing)? Are you all busy?” And then all the employees just stayed silent, much to the Manager's annoyance as he then said “You all are that busy?!” Absolutely made my day Kudos to those warehouse employees. “Not my job, I'm not doing it”
What a coincidence
Just the other day I responded to a post saying something like “two week notices are reserved for respectable companies, ie employers that respect their employees.” I related that when I hate a job and I want to quit I just tell a manager or supervisor that I'm done, not coming in tomorrow or ever again and don't call me cuz my phone is dead as far as this place is concerned. And I did mostly that today. My boss is actually a nice guy, he just has no power. Or at least his hands are tied behind his back and I just didn't want to give him a hard time about something that isnt directly his fault. I didn't actually say the above to him, but it is how I felt. To anyone who wants to quit but is scared to pull the trigger, don't be. You deserve better.…
Fuck you, you squinty eyed bitch!
I got fired
This was over a decade ago For funsies I sat for an hour before I was seen at one job interview. I had already gotten a position with my second choice, but I wanted to see what this company was going to offer since it was my first choice. The whole time I sat there nobody spoke to me, until at the end of that hour a woman walked by, looked at me and jumped a little, went a little pale, and rushed away. Another woman walked over a few minutes later and called me back for my interview. The interview started as normal, but they got to the weird “Who do you live with” and “If you had three hats and could only wear one, which would it be” kinds of stupid interview questions “progressive” managers like. I asked why they needed to know that after every question. I…
