I got to the place. Filled out an application. They had a questionnaire and a Wartegg test. Some questions started to stand out. Do you think it’s acceptable for you to get pay for the days you were trained? Do you think using your phone during business hours is acceptable? The person who was conducting the interview came 30 mins late. During the interview he asked. “Who do you live with? What do they work as?” I asked why they didn’t to know that. They said because they want to know who’s maintaining who. Especially if you’re living with family. The worst part was when I was told the hours and lunch break. He said they’re very busy. 9am-7pm Mon-Sat. $10/hr. You get a 10 min break to eat 15 if you’re lucky since they’re very busy. Even then you have to eat while work or stand up eating. The…

At a job I had, I worked efficiently, diligently and completed the days tasks early nearly everyday. I would then do small tasks around the office like picking up the kitchen break area and straightening the waiting room. There came a week where I had a massive workload, and I was struggling to get my cases completed by end of day. On Wednesday that week, I got an email from the office manager asking me why the kitchen was not cleaned up and the waiting room was not straightened. I replied stating these things were not in my job description( I attached my job description.) I had only done them because I completed my cases early most days. I stated that I had a mountain of work this week, and had no ” extra” time. A few hours later the OM sent out an email stating she had become aware…
walked out on an interview today
For context, they reached out to me. They found me on the health registry in my state and wanted to set up an interview. I was thrilled, as this is o.e of the top facilities in my state, so I said yeah. I get there 15 minutes early (they requested 10 but traffic) and I waited. and waited. 20 minutes after the interview was supposed to start I went up to the receptionist and told her that it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to my time. I followed that up with telling her I'm not interested in working for a company that provides this as the first interaction and to tell that to the hiring manager, if she ever showed up. don't think that the receptionist had ever been given that kind of response, as she looked like I just slapped her but like. if that's the first impression you…
My employer insisted on an illegal vaccine mandate even now when covid is no longer an issue. It has been a tough few weeks but it's a relief to find a place like this where worker's rights, bodily autonomy and freedom are all valued as sacred. Bless you all. Glad you're not like the rest.
This personality test was 100% mind games. It was full of ridiculous statements just to fuck with your head. I've never failed one of these stupid agree / disagree assessments in my life. You'd see a statement like: “I am typically quiet at work.” and think the obvious answer is to agree because they don't want someone loud and disruptive. Nope, wrong. Every single question on this thing was a trap like this. I was completely turned away from the interview over this joke of a test. I decided I'd had enough and it's time to give these people a piece of my mind. This is what I emailed them: “Hi, I had an “interview” for your company today at a hiring event and the entire process was unprofessional and insulting. Everyone at this event was treated like cattle and categorized by the bogus personality test on SnagAJob. The interviewers…
