Software to block screenshots in time-tracking app?

I noticed in the “help” section of my company’s time-tracking software that periodic automated screenshots can be disrupted with certain privacy apps. Does anyone know which apps can be used to achieve this with minimal disruption to my workflow (I take a lot of screenshots)? EDIT: Just to be clear I don’t intend on staying with this company for more than another week, so I’m not very worried about any consequences, but being able to prevent them from seeing screenshots of my computer would make the transition smoother

Survivors Guilt

I just made it through the supposed last round of layoffs at Disney after months upon months of layoffs and “creative restructures” or whatever they are calling them and all I can think about is the thousands of people who lost their jobs. I am in no way celebrating this and wish more than anything that I could afford to quite with no notice in solidarity. The mental toll of working for such a soulless monolith is borderline unbearable and I am not entirely sure how to proceed. I have immense guilt from not being one of the ones laid off and was looking for advice on how others are navigating similar situations.

Job description provides salary between $90k and $110k but interview manager is flabbergasted when I asked for $100k

Companies nowadays are a joke. I recently applied for a account executive job with a job description that offers salary between $90k and $110k and when asked about salary expectations in the interview I give them a medium the hiring manager acts surprised with my offer even when my credentials are outstanding. I did this because I know these idiots aren’t going to stick to their word, as almost 90% of these companies lie in their description, and I’m hoping for one that actually has a moral compass. There is absolutely no merit in being an honest job seeker. Companies are lying in their job descriptions, and their hiring personnel act like people who apply should never see that money they posted and lied about. I don’t see a reason not to lie about your credentials when all they do is lie about the jobs they post.

Applied to over 200 jobs 20 have responded (13 are mlm scams/ sales jobs)

I’m 24 years old and have an associates degree and I’m one year away from getting my bachelors. I have been working at the same job for 4 years and make $16 an hour. I’m overworked and have tried leaving so many times before. I get emails from indeed and other job sites sending me jobs that want me to apply but when I do I hear nothing back. I have been calling jobs. Going in person and nothing responds/ offers me an interview. I am either over qualified, or they just don’t want to hire me. I’m so miserable and sad that there is no opportunity around me that I can find.

what a great message

i just remembered the time in third grade that my math teacher got mad cause no one was listening and decided to make us calculate if you could actually live off of minimum wage and have the moral of that slightly traumatizing lesson be “work hard in school so you can get a better job”

Memorial Day Holiday Pay

I work in an industry that's open 365 days a year, which means I often work on holidays. Since I'm part of the management tier at my location, I get holiday pay, and if I have to work on the actual holiday, I'll get some other day off during the week to make up for it. E.g., I'm working today but will get Wednesday off and full pay for the day. I consider this a pretty good way to handle it for a business that's open every day. Unfortunately, that benefit only applies to those in the management tier, not regular staff, because only managers are full-time and get benefits. This always pissed me off when I was working as staff, and it still doesn't sit right with me as a manager. So, I'm cutting a check to everyone on my (admittedly small) team whenever they have to work a…
