Getting tired of the micromanaging…
that I am now starting to look for jobs online. It sucks. I feel that my contribution to the department never counted for shit. I love the job, but I hate the way my boss needs constant chitchats to pretend that we’re “communicating”.
Update: My New Job
Hey folks! A while ago, I posted about leaving the 9-5(or usually 7-9). The abuse, the soulsucking, and the blad-faced unapologetic greed. A lot of you asked for a follow up so here it is! For those out of the loop, I started my own business selling microgreens at reasonable prices to help make up for the nutritional shortfall in many people's diets. I believe that our agricultural system serves people very poorly. Both for those who work the farms and the people it feeds. It has absolutely failed the stress test of Covid, and now they're just gouging. Fuck all that. NEWS: I got my business license, set up a business account, got insurance, got travel totes, a folding table, a canopy, chairs, packaging, signage, and spots booked at the markets. . I have my first farmer's market this Monday! I am nervous and excited to see how it…
This was over 10 years ago and I used to work at a frozen yogurt shop for minimum wage. I was a full time college student at that time and the school was in another town. Whenever I would come home for summer or the holidays, I’d pick up a few shifts here and there. When I had nothing to do over the summer, I would work at this shop regularly. After that day, the customers who were…

Your coworkers are not your family
I just had a phone interview for a receptionist at a swim school and they asked me why I was passionate about it. No one has ever in history been passionate about it. I just need a paycheck.
Tipping culture is getting ridiculous!
Ok, hear me out. I think that crazy tipping culture stems from workers not being paid enough, so companies are turning to tipping culture to boost their workers’ income, so they don’t have to. Companies are also using tips to just boost their own profits. I was at a coffee shop. I hadn’t even got my drink yet, and the barista asks me if I want to leave a tip. I’ve never been seriously asked out loud for a tip. I said yes as I felt I had to and she asks how much…out loud. Like WTF? I have to announce to everyone how much I’m going to tip??? Then, I’m at the airport. I do self check out for 2 overpriced sandwiches at $32. It’s a self-checkout and it fucking asks me for a tip!! The self check out…asked me for a tip!!! Fuck this is pissing me off!!…
