I'm leaving a toxic environment, I'll spare the details but basically the supervisor is a massive POS and I'm leaving without notice, just going to spring it on her at the last second however they are on holiday this week so I won't be able to see the look on their face. Just wondering how I should go about letting them know and how hard should I work etc, don't wanna get fired before I leave but I want to take the piss as much as possible like they've done to me. Any thoughts

Company keeps messing up my pay
A few months ago I was involved in a meeting that went much to the tune of, “working should be your main priority.” This, of course, was immediately followed the next week by, “you guys are working way too much. Your time clocks are being capped and if you try to clock in early or out late you need to talk to HR.” While also belittling the amount of work some people do, as apparently there’s “no reason.” It should take that long. Whatever. Annoying, but no biggie, right? Wrong. Because my pay keeps getting messed up. Any events we work aren’t accounted for by the allotted time clock hours. I have to email HR constantly. They also keep messing up my hours. Normally, I watch like a hawk to make sure I get paid correctly. They’ve tried to give another coworker a bunch of my over time hours because…
I work in STEM and I’m well aware that these clauses are ubiquitous in most large corporations, but…. I feel they shouldn’t be legal at all. It’s just a company’s way to bully the little guy. Like, if a company does me wrong, I have to sit in a room and allow an arbitrator of their choice choose who is right? How the fuck is this legal??? Arbitrators are supposed to be impartial, but it seems the companies always get to choose them 🤔
Today I’m receiving my notice
And I can’t wait! The place is mismanaged, constantly negged, the director and son have run the business into the ground and made such a toxic environment. I can’t wait to just be out of it. Try and have a good day reader 🙂
As the title says, can any job be fun subjectively given the right environment, good salary, the proper respectful management and all? Or are there some jobs regardless of the outcome, will always be terrible to work in? I know retail is heavily reliant on nice customers that don't blow up in your face but what about other ones?

So we are asking you, the community, what actions you would like us to take moving forward. Please make suggestions in this thread. We will include selected top responses to create a poll for the community to help us have an idea of what the community would like our next step to to be. Going private is not an option we are willing to entertain, as that would result in Reddit replacing the mod team with a team of hand picked corporate scabs.
