Left me hanging until it was convenient
1 1/2 month ago I interview with a company (I’m in collage, it’s not a huge wage) the interviewer said “we don’t like to hire people in school but maybe. If you don’t here from us by the end of the week then it’s a no. Fast forward to now and their emailing and calling me now a month later saying they have a new thurs-sun shift. Not a great schedule imo but maybe I’m just not looking for weekend work. At the end of the day they left me hanging so long an now they want to hire me, is this a red flag?
After two good interviews with relevant people at the company I was sent this as a requirement to present! A case study! But this is just freakin insane. The company expects you to do a comprehensive prez and research and segmentation and milestones . FFS is this what candidates have to do to get a job?? It’s a freaking analyst relations managerial job I’d expect this if I was applying for a CMO position. But seriously? Speculative work for a chance to receive a “sorry but we decided to go with other candidates better suited…..” And it has nothing to do with analyst relations

Normalize not having a life
A extremely sad event happened yesterday. An employee was brutally murdered at work and the company ceo and vice presidents an senior management made the call to not warn any team members as we were extremely worried we were on the overnight and not any of us knew what happened rumor of someone with a gun was going around we didn't go into lock down nothing. Rumors running around people scared worried that the person could be in the building still. After it happend they had overnight, AM an PM team stay in production while all of us were in shock and scared. They caught the man who did this terrible act but everyone was still I'm shock. Sick days and PTO
I work as a Sterilisation Tech in a hospital, this year i got injured at work and the injury made me take more time of than usual. Had to take 2 days off this week because I caught some kind of stomach flu and working at an hospital, they don't want you there when you're that sick. Mind you the time was accounted for, as they accumulate sick time for us each pay. Yesterday my boss came to talk to me about my delinquant asciduduity. Why in the hell am i accumulating sick time off if I can't use my accumulated sick time off without being worried HR thinks i take too much, i find it fucking ridiculous, pardon my french, i am still irrate.
