I remember when I was living with my mom, she told me I had to work 5 days at minimum. Telling me that I needed to sign up for “at least 1 class” because I had ONE fucking 3 day weekend. This August, it will be an year since I (21F) have started working my first job after college. Ever since I started my work, I cant remember the last time I was actually happy. I hate my job, I hate my life, I hate everything around me. I and literally most of the people I know have started noticing how I have changed. Ok, this was about two months ago. I was working for a small Indigenous Australian Design company. The boss and I were the only two Indigenous staff members. Before me, there were two Indigenous employees my now ex-boss also fired. In full transparency, I had a mental breakdown affecting my work and every other aspect of my life.
