Honest Question – The last 3 jobs i've had, require Teams to be used at all times, but I never agreed to this in any of the contracts, and my jobs never required full time messaging software. I've had timecards, etc but this being online/available at all times is ridiculous. There are countless threads about shitty managers and micromanagement, but Teams is the main issue that i've been facing. Has there been any look into the workers rights about requiring this etc? Is there any labor law that should prevent this BS?

I made a formal complaint about my boss. 10 point complaint. From little things to against HIPAA things. Last week she made a really awkward situation for me by trying to make it look like I was throwing someone under the bus when I wasn't and then proceeded to blame me for her emailing the wrong person and then not forward it. Then I added it to my complaint. We had a sit down today where she told me she can sense the uncomfortableness, and hostility towards her. By that she means where I give short email replies, nothing thought out, just yes I did this no I did not do this here's this info for you. I said I'm sorry If I made her feel that way but that right now im not her biggest fan and would rather have some personal space until I can get over it.…

Employee stealing from a cash register: jail. Management knowingly stealing wages: fine.
General frustration
I'm a car enthusiast and was just sitting here thinking how frustrating it is knowing that I'll never be able to afford a single vehicle that I would like. Sure, there are a few hypercars that would be cool to own, but I'm talking even 30-60k dream cars. What's worse, I've had a number of execs and/or middle management rub in that they could purchase almost whatever they want. I'm in IT and traveled for four years straight and for most of my career have pulled 65-75 hour weeks. My bosses rarely traveled, if at all, and certainly didn't pull those hours. It just totally sucks not being able to afford life, let alone some perks while slaving away. I know this sounds kinda whiney, but I just always see awesome vehicles in parking lots and get frustrated knowing that you can guarantee they're owned by those taking advantage of…
BURNOUT AND TIRED
I'm so fucking tired with my fucking job and fucking abusive/unfair coworkers as well as fucking stupid idiotic leaders who does not give a shit about every single concerns that were raised, and last but not the least toxic and ill-mannered customers. For 6 years working experience in Call Center BPO industry I have never been so unhappy. I'm currently working in a different call center company for almost 3 years and I am living hell in this company with parasite people. I cried today because I cannot quit due to several reasons and those reasons aren't just lame reasons. It's about family financial, self-care needs financial, pet financial, future savings, VISA purposes, etc. But I do not deserve this kind of treatment. I am just totally not happy. I feel like a prisoner. My brain could not focus or concentrate anymore so I cannot continue studying and upskill to…
I’m in Ontario
Tryna start a revolution
I (31F) served in the USMC and like other vets got screwed by the US Government not only as a vet but as an American. The workforce is a joke and I have a plan to change it… it takes support from us fellow workers tho. I'm tired of working 50+ hours as a manager only to struggle with the raising home and cost of living prices, watching my workers struggle twice as hard. I have a plan to change but it takes support. Add my ig to get involved. @teekay420
I work was on the dining room floor today before my shift having a meal when some teenagers came up to me and asked me how long I worked here. I told them I worked here since I graduated which was 3 years ago and they asked if I was a student at the college which I said no. They started laughing and said that if I wasn’t such a loser I’d be almost done with college. I was pretty put off by this and didn’t know what to say but then they started making comments about my weight and that I was the biggest moron they’d ever met. One of them particularly was a giant asshole and was filming even when I was crying. After about 2 minutes of sitting there trying to finish my meal I couldn’t eat and threw it away and went to my car so…
