Well, now they started accusing everyone who talked negative about them that it was one person behind it – Me and those reviews are considered as “fake” because they think I'm the one “posting” them on purpose. This is the original Reddit post where I've talked about this threats. This is the one and only review I have re-posted not long ago (look the first one from the bottom; also make sure to have a translator): * https://www.joberty.rs/it-kompanija/879/factor-blue-doo/razgovor-za-posao Another fun story: The company edited their original response (the one that contained all of that pathetic insults) with a new and more polite one. Also, the original response had an enormous likes/dislikes ratio before they realized their bot mission was a complete failure… Luckily, there is thing called Web Archive which still contains the old cached page before the edit went through (make sure to prepare a translator): https://web.archive.org/web/20230510150727/https://www.joberty.rs/it-kompanija/879/factor-blue-doo/razgovor-za-posao The original…

The Exceptions
I'm just starting a job for a locally owned fresh foods market and the owner has got to be one of the friendliest and nicest people I have ever met. He's a prime example of how to do business right. He respects his employees and his customers. and builds meaningful relationships with each and every one of them. Half the customers who come in smile and greet him by name when they see him. For all the horrible companies and bosses and work environments, there are people out there who actually care about you.
My wife worked in a horrible toxic office environment, but luckily find a new job with another company for more pay. This morning she went into the office and informed them that her last day would be June 2nd. At the end of the work day, they told her to not come back, today was her last day, and they would pay her fully for the next 2 weeks. However, they told her that all of her insurance benefits would stop at the end of today. Fortunately, her new company is starting benefits day 1 on June 5th, but this leaves her and my 2 year old son without insurance for the next 2 weeks. My wife is also newly pregnant… Is any of this legal? My wife had full intention to work the next 2 weeks, and then they just sort of cut off her insurance immediately. State of…

What the title says… person who received the promotion is someone I trained a year and a half ago as a new hire.
I work at a large organization and the main person who is in charge has a secretary. She sent out an email that challenged us to print out his head and take it with us “on vacation, weddings, family gatherings, etc.” then take a selfie to share for a prize/competition. The constant email reminders to do it and just the idea of printing out our bosses head to take on the vacation I want to forget about work on makes me feel gross. What are your thoughts?
I’m not sure if this is common practice or not, but I found out that a couple weeks ago, all my coworkers except for myself and one other got a $2 raise. This is because all my other coworkers are full time and apparently the raise only applies to full time employees. This has been sitting really badly with me, as even the people hired after me are paid more than I am, and I helped get them on their feet here. I’ve only been at this company for 4, almost 5 months but I feel that I am one of the hardest workers there. Part time and full time employees fulfill the exact same job duties, there is no reason in my opinion why we shouldn’t be getting the same wage. On top of this we all split tips from the same pool, so not only are they making…
Basically i ended up being scheduled at the end of the first pay period but hadn't been counted for that week's payroll. So my first cheque actually only counted the two weeks worked after. I noted this to hr who apologized and said they'd count the 32 hours toward my next payroll which will be for this upcoming cheque. Thing is that this would bring my hours for those two weeks to about 110. So I'm wondering how that would/should be reflected on my cheque since the extra hours are not technically overtime in terms of hours worked but would be well over the 40 hr workweek. Anyone have advice on this?
please encourage me to quit my job
hi y’all, I’m gonna try and make this as short as possible. I work 2 part time jobs, one remote and one at a school as a TA. It’s the school job, the one that is making me miserable. Every day I walk into one of the classrooms I work in and I just know I’m gonna be disrespected, talked down to, and made feel like shit by the teacher. I keep holding on because otherwise I’d be left with basically half of my current income and tbh, I do enjoy working with the kids. However, the hostility of this teacher has come to the point that I feel really bad anxiety before even walking in. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s truly affecting my mental health. I only have this job because I needed the money. If I wanted to pursue a career in education, I’d be willing…
