I have been with my company since December 2019 when I started as Level 1 in my role and was promoted to Level 2 in April 2021. Since then I’ve had my eyes set on Level 3, for which 2 years as a Level 2 was a prerequisite. I have been going above and beyond, aiding my manager who is brand new to the company and industry, mentoring new colleagues, exceeding national quota attainment, consistently exceeding KPIs, etc. I discussed my desire to achieve Level 3 with my manager for the past 6 months and they indicated there was no reason to their knowledge why I would not get it. I did NOT get the Level 3 this promotion cycle (which only happens once a year in May) because I did not meet the time. I thought I did, because April 2021-2023 is 2 years… right? Wrong. Fired for…?
So long story short I was employed by a restaurant. This restaurant opened last Monday and did not have any sanitizing solution, only using dawn dish soap to clean dishes, surfaces, and utensils. I inquired about when we could get a 3 compartment sink with detergent and sanitizer wells. I was told that the sink guy would be here tomorrow. Fast forward 2 weeks and the sink still isn't set up and employees are hand washing dishes with dawn only. I was very persistent on our need for the sanitizer since I have worked in kitchens in the past and know that without sanitizer you are at the mercy of your employees and what they deem clean. I was sent home on Thursday to help save labor and when I came in for my next scheduled shift on Monday I was informed that I would be let go due to…
Our currency isn’t money.
It's human suffering, the 1% have an unlimited amount of it (none of which is their own) while the rest of us give them our own life force through the act of suffering, just to suffer a little more comfortably. How nice of the 1% to let us exchange our suffering with eachother too though through resale and small businesses. That feels a little nicer.

Just thinking out loud
Any job client facing requires the “manager” to schedule work rotations (aka “planning”) If you are unable to work – pregnancy, illness, family emergency, medical emergency, it is on your “manager” to cope with and re-schedule other staff around that. NOT YOU!
Title. Just curious. If I have record of being there for 2 hours, can they just not pay me?
I’m so done.
I just broke down today and ended up here. I work for six figure doctors and I can't afford groceries. My card declined. I do most of the work as their assistant, I test patients, send medications, communicate with other clinics, and I cant afford groceries. I stepped outside the store and just started crying.
Coffee Bug!
I’ve only worked there a month but don’t think meetings are paid. Do I have to go?
