Lots of gaps and short term jobs
Hi! As the title states, I've had a lot of gaps in employment and short-term jobs and I need some resume help, please. Basically, the last 2 years I've been bouncing from job to job because I quit or got fired. Collectively at least 6 months unemployed. Currently, my resume shows no work for the last 15 months, though that's when I've jumped from job to job. The only thing I can think of doing is to lie but IDK how easy it is to do so or if it's possible for an employer to really check. Thank you for helping 🙂 I didn't see this as against the rules, but if it is, please let me know.

Is UnionSignUp.com legitimate?
A friend of mine got an e-mail on their company account, reaching out about forming a union. Timing makes sense, as their company is pushing hard for return to office with no exceptions or increased compensation. No one is happy about it, and a large portion of their team said they would look for new employment. However, the site is rather minimalist, and the specific url doesn't show up in search engines. Anyone have any experience with UnionSignUp?

Longtime lurker, and observer: Elon Musk made promises to my city and wildly under-delivered: Obligatory sorry for the format, on mobile, and sorry if this gets lost in the sauce. I'm from Buffalo, NY (bringers of chicken wings and Starbucks Unionization) a rustbelt city who's glory days are in the past but still itching for a redemption story. Years ago, Musk made a deal with NY to build a production factory in buffalo for his Tesla Solar panels (Solar City). He said it would be like a Tesla Gigafactory for solar panels. The factory was supposed to create 1400 “well-paying,” “high-tech” jobs for the area. What we are left with is a factory that produces nothing and is unstable employment for a few hundred. This is endemic of all of these oligarchs (let's call them what they are) selling a bag of goods with no intention of delivering. NY put…
This is a throwaway post I'm actually really embarrassed over the whole situation. I work a shitty retail part time job that barely pays above minimum wage. I come in early, stay late, stock the things my co workers don't like stocking, I climb the ladder and change shirt plexis and pretty much do my best to bust my ass. I've had promotions and “raises” danged over my head like carrots just to be yanked back at the last second. I'm actively looking and applying for a different / new job but I just can't quit my job without having some thing else lined up. I have to work this job because I have a child to support Yesterday we had a customer come in. Apparently they called, looking for an item we sell, one of my co workers apparently told them to check some of the surrounding retail stores…

Sorry for any errors. English isn’t my first language. I’ve been having some problems with my stomach since last year and I’ve run out of PTO going to doctor’s appointments. I took last week off for some more appointments. Tuesday I was supposed to come back into the office but I worked from home without permission. My boss messages me on Teams and asks where I’m sitting. I wanted to be snarky and say “at home so I can be close to a private bathroom” but I just kept it vague and said I wasn’t feeling well. Today I worked from home again and he reached out to say that I needed to clock off and he’ll follow up tomorrow. I’m definitely getting written up but I’m just so frustrated. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my physical and mental health to work in person to do the same thing I…
