I am not optimistic that this will help, but I'm just so frustrated with employers. I'm very angry at the moment because I just received an email from my manager stating they have no extra hours to give…but if you see my email to the CEO I explain how many wasted hours they have and that they're distributing them contrary to their own rules. I admit I am partially to blame for not realizing that when I said I would cover the opposite shifts of the full-time 3rd shift that my hours would go from 12 a night to 8-10. It wasn't something I thought I needed to ask as 3rd shift is always a 12-hr shift. It all just seems so hopeless. Office manager for 2 medical offices. Been here almost a year. Pay: $20/hr and then there was supposed to be bonuses and potential raises due to performance. Minimum wage: $14 when I started and is now $17. Current Responsibilities (not what I was hired for) -Marketing -Fixing 10+ years of billing issues -sending notes to other offices -scheduling -phones -sending statements -uploading and putting in all patient info. -restocking, inventory and purchasing for the offices. -IT -converting over to a EMR system for 20+ years of records. -hiring other medical staff (but not an assistant for me, just people that provide a service that can be billed for) -cleaning all offices after every patient -taking payments -calling adjusters. -medical records requests.
