Hey again-call center worker here. I just want to know what the hell is wrong with the majority of people just not having the basic minimum of common courtesy?? On an hourly basis I am yelled at, threatened, called every name in the book, and basically spoken to like I am the “help.” All while getting paid a glorious $17 an hour. Why would an otherwise normal person treat someone this way? I know things can be super frustrating sometimes but please, PLEASE just realize there is a human being on the other end of the phone. Chances are they are just trying to get through their 8 hours without strangling themselves with the headset cord.
