I was hired part time at a credit union early April. I told them at my final interview that I was looking for a second job to help cover finances because in this day and age, 29hrs of pay does not go a long way. I was straight forward with them. Let them know my availability will probably change once I find something. I was told that was fine as long as the credit union was priority and to just keep them up to date. He keeps blaming external factors (which to be fair, do play a part in it) like a lot of contracts being consistently late with payments. But it’s not that, he’s just unbelievably irresponsible with money. Being so close with him means I have a deep understanding of his finances and what he spends it on, as we do talk almost every day. 3 days into the month and he spent £4k on a literal TOY, draining not only the business but his personal funds too. Alright so. I've been at this job for a little more than 3 years. I work in early childhood education, and while I love the work, it is comically underpaying for how physically and emotionally demanding it is, especially for New York. There are soooo many reasons why I want out of this job, but to keep it short: I can't pay my bills, my physical health is suffering, and my family needs help with some care related to a family member. I've been wanting to leave this job for these reasons and more for a very long time, but I haven't actually quit yet because I don't have another job (despite my efforts). Lately I've been putting very minimal effort into doing the job, let alone showing up on time or even calling out properly. I recently started my new job. I’m on week 2 now. When I interviewed, they told me that we’d only be in the office for a couple weeks and then we’d be teleworking. Well come to find out there were tons of new hires so training classes are overflowing and now our training can’t begin until mid July. So long story short, I’ll be required to be in the office for about 3 months now. The office setting is very uncomfortable and triggers my migraines. I always feel nauseous and light headed. It stresses me out & has caused my attacks to get worse even while I’m away from the office. I’m used to having my own office with proper accommodations or wfh. I thought I could stick it out but I’m not sure now. I can file for reasonable accommodation but I would need a doctors note. However, my…

(For context: I'm in Ontario, Canada) I recently took a salaried job that pays $55k a year. This job accrues 4% vacation to be paid when I take vacation. I get 2 weeks of vacation. Any other salaried job that I have had, I simply get my regular paycheque when I take vacation. My employer also shutdowns for 2 weeks of the year, which are also unpaid weeks. They are trying to tell me that the 4% accrual covers this. It doesn't. I'm in finance, no matter how I crunch the numbers, it does not add up to $55k. Additionally, the 4% accrual won't be based on $55k if there are 4 weeks that I won't be receiving a paycheque – 4% of zero is zero. To keep it simple: I'm giving up 4 weeks of pay, & that 4% accrual almost gives me 2 weeks back. So, I'm short…

I work as a machinist/welder at a large company. My supervisor has made comments like “if you come in with painted nails I will fire you” and others that I can’t put on here because of the content that was said. A former coworker had his nails painted black and boss came in and tore into him about how he should fire my coworker right there. Is there anything I can do anonymously to fix this? I should add that I’m non-binary and I’m not out with the people here.
