I have been working at take 5 oil change for about 10 months now. Last night I was up sick and called out of work. I later got a call saying I cam show up or be terminated. I'm showing up with a doctors note and leaving right after. Is there any course of action I can take towards my leadership for them essentially forcing Me to come into work knowing I'm sick?

I’m 21 and scared for the future.
Prices are going up like crazy. $15 an hour isn’t enough. I get treated like shit by both my boss and customers on the daily. Cost of housing is just insane how can anyone afford this? What are we doing to fix the issue? I see a lot of talk about these situations that very much effect all of us. I’m 21 and super scared. I don’t know what’s going to happen and especially how I’m going to set myself up for success. The most I’m doing right now is working a minimum wage job, going to school for a degree in computer science and I’m not sure if that’s even the right path for me. It’s just a living hell, going to work just to be yelled at all day and then come home to work on homework for the next 2-6 hours and then go to sleep, wake…
About 30% of the fuel burnt turns into work done. Do expect a person to work more efficiently than your car?
I know it’s probably in their handbook, but why not coach and train the manager? What could you do differently, how can you better handle the situation in the future… big lots is shitty, but still.
the bonus is with the condition that you pass their qualification exam with a 100% score.
C-Suite Teams
I'm going to keep the company I'm talking about anonymous because I still actively have to use them as references in my work field; so please don't ask for identifiable information I worked at a very large, publicly traded, very well known company that is based in travel. We're going to call them Bob's Travel & Relaxation. This company over the course of 5 years had very public changes happen that had impacts to not just a lowly minions but the C-Suite team. Before I go further for anyone who doesn't know just to clarify C-Suite team are those executives that have literally a sea-based title so you're talking CEO, CFO, CHRO, CTO…etc. In time with one of those big changes the C-Suite team and made the decision that they were going to redo the layout of several floors of the building that the company occupied in addition to redesigning…
as title says, had a coworker put in their two weeks, and the new supervisor wanted a detailed list of what they accomplished while here. Felt like he wanted to be difficult because they had the audacity to find work elsewhere
Earlier this week I had mandatory training for 4hrs. It’s near the end of my work week, and I’m getting close to hitting overtime. I went in asking my ops manager how long he’s gonna have me out, since he avoids giving ppl overtime and was looking forward to a short day. He told me the hours trained don’t count towards the “work” hrs since it’s a different pay scale ie we don’t get our commission. This sounds fishy to me, any thoughts?
