So, I hate my job. I think everyone here can share that sentiment. It all just sucks. I'm miserable all the time, and the only thing I got out of giving 110% for the past 4 years is severe depression and anxiety. And it's only getting worse. I decided that since I wasn't getting anything good out of giving all my energy to this job, I would just give the bare minimum. That way, it wouldn't make my mental health even worse. Well, since I started doing that, my coworker (there's only two of us in the office, and she has seniority over me, so she basically takes charge) has been getting on my ass all the time. I’m traumatized
I’ve applied to over 1000 jobs in less than three months. And only 1 offer. I have a college degree. I was so close to my dream job, but they no longer needed to fill the role. I updated my resume. Indeed has led nowhere. LinkedIn has been a lot more responsive. All I can think about is my last job, and what I could have done to make it better for me. I was there for almost 5 years. This major layoff era has been trying. Like I’ve had so many interviews where I’m a great candidate just to be ghosted. I’m not sure if I should go back to working at restaurants or what. This is such a trying time.
