Hi everyone, At the beginning of the year I was promoted to an administrative assistant position at my place of work. Up until now, I had not received any monetary compensation for this position change. In my previous position I made $17.95/hr. I was planning on talking to my boss if this went on for much longer but a little over a week ago they came to me to let me know I was getting a raise as well as retroactive pay. I thanked them and before I could ask any questions the phone rang and I had to answer. The day then continued to be busy and I've had some questions on the back burner that I just haven't gotten the chance to talk to them about as there just hasn't been time. So today is pay day. I was expecting a bump up to at least $19.08 considering…

Manager called during my medical leave
I've been on medical leave since mid-January. It's supposed to end in May but I have absolutely no intention of going back to that job. I'm autistic and the store is too overstimulating for me, so I'm looking for something that will accommodate my needs. My manager left me a voicemail a few days ago asking when I was coming back since my leave is “almost over” (still have a month and a half) I have no idea what to tell her

I work at TSA, and apparently clocking in at the hour is not acceptable despite being on time. I come in at 3:58-59 AM, put my jacket up, and clock in at 3:59-4:00. Granted, I can clock in as early as 3:53, but it's also 4 in the morning, which is a grueling start time. After I clock in, I grab a radio and grab my gloves in our training room next door (I keep my specialized gloves out of site so other employees don't take them.) Just after I clocked in, my lead told me I was supposed to be on the floor by 4:00. I told him I still had to grab my equipment before I hit the floor and he told me I was supposed to have all that stuff before. I asked if I was supposed to grab my stuff, clock in, and hit the floor…
