I've been working at this job for 10 months now, I suck at my job, I just don't understand Canadian tax laws and rules no matter how hard I try. Though my primary responsibilities are admin related, it's part of my job to know Tax Laws. My boss, who's owned and ran his business for over 18 years and very good at what he does, is absolutely terrible at training and managing. He's a nice person, but has no patience and has snapped at me for small mistakes and warns me that my job depends on me doing better. I have no other coworkers. My job can be done remotely, he's refused my requests to WFH on occasion. I've been actively looking for another job, but no luck thus far. My mental health has taken quite the turn, I'm constantly depressed, my emotions are no longer stable, all my confidence…

It is our choice to conform to society and it’s standards. If all of us decide to stop contributing what will these politicals do? The politicals want money and working. So if we stop working, no money and no happy politicals. Let us begin this revolution in order to revert the world to happy and prosperous. Thank you for reading my words. I’d appreciate it.

I've been thinking about it today. Think about how much happier we'd be, how much calmer and less anxious we'd be if we didn't have to work as much as we do, or flat out didn't have to work just to survive. Like if the work week was 20 hours it would be fucking incredible, even a 3 day weekend would make such a substantial difference to our mental health. You wouldn't feel the pressure to make the most of every weekend because it'll go by so quickly. The unbearable dread on Sunday nights. We'd be so much better rested. Yet we're forced to fucking work until we're old men and women and can barely move. And our generation won't even be able to afford fucking houses, cars, etc (unless you want to be a debt slave for years and years) like generations before unless you've had great mentorship throughout…

I saw in another sub I’m in of people saying that workers who NCNS are the scummiest of the earth (unless it’s under emergency conditions) because it screws over their work day. If you need to keep the job or reference then obviously don’t perform NCNSs. If you don’t want to be fired then obviously call in. But in my opinion personally, I don’t get paid enough to care about giving a two week notice. I just stop showing up. I also don’t get paid enough to do the work of two people and become frantic over a worker that stopped showing up.

My last job was in 2011, after which I became seriously ill and was forced to spend most of my time in bed. Now that I am feeling better, I need to find a part-time job that is based in an office since I am unable to perform physical labour. 1- If I fabricate a fake resume with recent inexistent jobs and experience, it will show up on the background check that my most recent position was in 2011 since dates show up in a Background Check, unless I am wrong? 2- If I come out clean and put on my resume my last job was in 2011 no recruiter will contact me. What should I do about my resume?

I work at a department store once a week for 6 hours. Almost every week the person working across from my section complains to me about my areas products landing in her place. She always tries to tell me to look through her area to grab my products. I only have enough time to unload new product in my area. I don’t have time to clean up after shitty customers.
