Go on, let’s hear it!

Dear Investors, I am thrilled to present to you an innovative idea that can revolutionize the way we communicate and connect with each other – the creation of a new language through symbols. Our level of technology is at a level now where this is a viable concept. With the explosion and adoption of AI technology and communication, it's become more important than ever to have a universal language that transcends borders and cultural differences. By creating a new language using symbols, we can break down language barriers and enable people from all over the world to communicate with each other effortlessly. Symbols have been used as a form of communication for thousands of years, and we have seen the success of this method through ancient civilizations like the Mayans, Egyptians, and Chinese. These cultures relied heavily on symbols to convey their ideas and establish their unique identities, proving that…
It’s this even legal?
I just want to keep it as short and sweet as possible cuz post corporate takeover literally nothing makes sense and everything is convoluted. Coworker R was approached by our team leader about a day during the last pay period where there were electrical issues (area known for it, there's a clause in the new PTO policy for it with our WFH agents) and she was offline for about two hours. THAT DAY this team lead advised her NOT to clock out for a one hour lunch because she had “basically taken a two hour lunch” and to just leave it be. Yesterday that lead pulls R and says because she DIDN'T take a lunch she ended up with an out of PTO. Corporate HR literally said “don't worry about it,” so if of course team lead makes a big deal about it. We have to do this change. After…
I have been in my current job for 8 years, and I'm just done. For the last couple of months, I have been looking for claims positions in the insurance industry, and have read many listings for “entry-level” positions that require 3-5 years experience. Who writes these things?! I've even been rejected for “not meeting the requirements” for the position, so it seems they are sticking to what they post.
I’m so fed up of the constant bullying I walked out. She even went into details ‘it was a red box, I saw her she had it!’ Turns out the item in question was never in the premises in the first place…. So she invented it all in her head to lie about me… and not for the first time.
Is giving a months notice a stupid idea?
I really love my and my bosses and coworkers. I get paid really well, benefits are amazing, office culture is fantastic. However, I'm move across country to finally live with my girlfriend of 5 years so I have to resign and I'm planning on my last day being Friday, April 28th. My absence won't really affect anything but I was considering giving a 4-3 week notice as an extra courtesy. I really can't imagine that they'll fire me when I give my notice but I guess you can never be sure. What should I do?
I have a coworker trying to go against me. Back in January I made a mistake due to a miscommunication that was out of my control. He set up a call with me, him, and the team lead where he expressed disappointment in me. He is not my supervisor or manager. Since then he has been going against me whenever he can. Then a few weeks later after all was well he randomly brings up the mistake I made in front of my whole team. Something felt very off about this. He also will try to make me look stupid in front of the team. I can tell just by his tone. I do not think taking to him will do anything about it. I am very scared that things are going to get worse. I am only 24 and I cannot mess up this early in my career. This…
I got a job where I make $12,000 more than my last job, $4.50 more per hour, and my paychecks are lower than my last job. Can someone explain how the fuck that works?? Is tax truly that much higher the more you make?? What the fuck?
only cashier open
As it says in the title I am the only cashier open I am typing this on my break. I work at a grocery store and there are currently four people on the front end, an older lady on the service desk, the supervisor, a lady on self scan and then me on register and if you noticed I didn't mention a bagger as we don't have one on right now. I actually had a little break down due to being the only register and I know people are going to say that I need tougher skin and all that. I just needed to rant a little is all
