So I was accused in a very hush hush way of somehow hacking into my work system and changing my numbers to epic proportions by my 2 main managers. When I went to work then next day I had coincidentally been invited to a quarterly open opinion type meeting where floor employees are invited to speak about things that are going on that we may want to discuss in a very informal setting. There were about 30 people there from all different departments. I sat next to an hr lady and, while I didn't participate much, I did say a few things. I'm not sure this is the proper place for this, but I work for a WFH content mill and write consumer articles for them. On their site, they have their own text box that you can put your writing into before sending it off to them to be approved. Just yesterday, they posted an announcement to all writers saying that from now on, we are not allowed to copy/paste the pieces we write into the text box, we MUST write everything directly on-site using the box. This won't affect me at all, as I already use the on-site box to write, but I'm wondering what difference this would make and how they'd be able to tell the difference? Can they see us writing in that text box in real-time or something? I don't understand. How would they know if someone wrote their piece on a Word document, pasted it to…

So I was interviewed for a data scientist position (in Poland), a not so big company, and a biotechnology related project. First meeting went ok with the Boss, I have all necessary skills, education etc. So we planned another, technical meeting in 4 days. I connected to the link, and no one showed up in 10 minutes, so I thought that they found someone better, no regrets. Then, the next day the Boss is writing to me saying that he cannot connect this day, so could we reschedule for the next day… I replied politely that the meeting was yesterday, and now I don't have time for the meeting because of other responsibilities in my current work and private life.
