Like how did humans at one point in time just not just call it quits

I don't really give a flying flapperjack what anyone says but yes, I did out of anger but due to the disrespect from the recruiter. Really? After all the time and effort and multiple emails to ask you about how the process is going etc for the past 2 months and you decide to ghost me? Especially when you're such a big advocate to anti ghosting or anti terrible job applying experience. Eat dirt a hole.
I have a meeting with my boss next week to discuss my salary increase for this year. This is something I've always struggled with and almost always just accepted whatever I've been offered. However, this year I think I deserve more because our team has experienced a ton of turnover and I've taken on a lot more responsibility. I found this article with some tips to approaching the negotiations, but I don't know if this would work for employees as well: https://brightmatterhr.com/knowledge-centre/blogs/a-simplified-approach-to-negotiating-salary/ What have you done in the past to prepare for these kinds of meetings?
That still seems like a lot…
The world needs more videos like this.
I think it’s a very productive use of time. I love being forced to use my unpaid lunch to listen to someone say a bunch of nothing about hard work!! /s I really can’t wait to get hired elsewhere.
Maybe I’m just petty, but this drives me crazy! Especially if the hour is being taken out of my wages. I’m sure if I showed up at 9:05 instead of 9:00, it wouldn’t go un-noticed.
I just started a new job just over a week ago and I already feel like quitting. It just doesn’t feel like the right fit for me. I haven’t even met my manager yet so I’m feeling like I can’t just quit. I’m actually considering hanging on for six months just so I don’t feel guilty. ugh I really don’t know what to do
