Long story short, I work as a night manager for a small/medium sized league center in Michigan. My boss is trying to enact a rule wherein the pit employees would be charged replacement/repair costs for damaged bowling balls caused by poor maintenance of the pinstters (for the record it is not the job of the night time pit staff to fix/maintain the machines, we have a day mechanic who is supposed to do this), is this legal?

This is the update of my situation, I would appreciate your point of view and advises, thank you guys for your support. A little resume (down below is the first post): my boss was harrasing me at work and he already stalked me once after work. He have not said yet anything sexual, but I believe he was grooming me. I already spoke with a person from the company who is taking care of my situation, we spoke with my boss that he must respect me and stop to have contact with me. But he keeps on trying to have contact at work (the same day after we spoke with him, he tried to talk to me with the excuse if I needed something). I got a new job a few weeks ago and it’s going great. However, I already have insurance through my spouse’s job and I told them I won’t be using the insurance offered by my job. Shouldn’t I get some of that money? I’m not even asking for all of it but I am saving them money so they should give me some of it. Right? Am I crazy?
I got P.I.P today at work
i say its a P.I.P , HR states its Letter of Expectation. Two things which were on it was, leaving my cubicle too much & Email etiquette . Whats funny, is that my manager discussed this last week, and agreed that everytime i leave my cubicle i shoot them a message on teams which i have been doing. Email etiques were not following certain templates when sending out to clients. Problem with sending certain templates is that, theyre certain phrases that needs to be taken out/added in order. I retracted to both statements listed and even though i retracted and listed the arguments on the back of the paper, they told me to sign because this was discussed. Not sure if that effects with U.E. if fired. Anyway why did HR have to be involved in this stupid matter. Had nothing to do with my work performacne
