Recently, work has been overwhelming and stressful. So much has been put on my plate, that i feel like i am drowning. I could see shit hitting the fan in the near future. I am viewed positively by leadership, and have always been willing to ‘step up’. How do i not give a fuck? I would like to quit, but i would owe a large chunk of change back to the company. If i get fired, i would owe any money back to the company, which would be ideal…

Im 28 F. I’ve worked in a warehouse for a cabinet manufacturing company for a little over 2 years, and worked there previously 2 years also. The job has always been some what stressful, but since new management took over about 6 months ago it’s all been downhill. Employee morale is nonexistent. Everyone is stressed and tired and overworked and they do not care. It all started 2 weeks before Christmas when they fired 30 people. Which meant basically we were working nervously all day waiting for them to fire people in our department. Honestly I’d consider myself lucky had I been one of those few. They did it again (20 or so) a couple months later. Everyone has been on edge. As you would expect, existing employees were expected to compensate for the lack of employees. My job, personally, was pulling doors for production. Then I was also pulling…

I worked for him years ago at his sandwich shop. Racist. Misogynistic. Alcoholic. Cheap. What an asshole. Weirdly, I kinda feel bad for him. As unhappy as we all were when we worked there, everyone moved on to better things. Meanwhile, he was sort of trapped there in a little hell of his own design – yelling at everyone all day that they were making the sandwiches wrong and that’s why he could only ever break even. Never mind that the sandwiches, even when perfectly made, were mediocre. Poor bastard screamed and drank himself to a heart attack in his early fifties. I always thought I would dance on his grave, but it’s just sad in retrospect. RIP you miserable piece of shit.

That's it, that's the post. We haven't gotten our Christmas bonuses yet. They keep promising to give it out soon, saying there might be extra with it. But so far literally $0.
