This is the first time I am switching job after 4 years of working. I need to serve 2 months of notice period. Now, what I did it once I got offer letter from a company, I conveyed to two other company HR's that I connect join and declined their offer and now I am thinking not to attend any further interviews also. Do you think is this okay or should I have atleast one other offer from other company as a backup option?
what is the point to life?
The area I live there is a lot of industrial warehouse and driving type work. I've been in and out of jobs for years but always worked. Just started a job picking in a warehouse. It's surprisingly really easy but I'm stood at a station for up to 9 hours a shift not talking to anyone and only the crappy radio stations they have on. I've been doing this kart tone fir three months and unfortunately had to go to full time and its kind numbing. I was too picker for three months but I have to do another 3 months probation and I don't think I can do another 3 months hoping to move up the ladder after my probation. My experience with my dream job as an industrial seamstress was the absolute worst job I’ve ever had in my entire life. From start to finish, this is the bullshit I went through for the past 3 weeks. When I was hired, from day once they were already very hostile towards me. I didn’t think much of it, assuming they just had a lot of employees come in thinking it was an easy high paying job.
