A change of pace to the negativity… not all companies are horrible to their team members. I received this watch as a reward for reaching a sales milestone a couple years back, it’s one of the top rewards that a GM can receive. I hope everyone in here finds a passion they love and profit from.

I firmly believe pay rate should go down as you get older.

As a younger person (24) I make less than 1/3 what some of the people older than me make In my same role so hear me out. The pay scale starts mid range when you begin work between 20-23 and peaks for the middle years where you are still very physically plane mentally fit years between 30-45/50ish after that you should be able to retire. If you choose not to your pay rate begins decreasing as age. Am I crazy because I’m on the younger end of this?

Not enough Notice of Schedule

I work at a wholesale bakery in a very rural area of WA state. It’s a small business. The manager makes the schedule but she regularly doesn’t make or post the schedule until the last scheduled day. So for example, I know I’m scheduled tomorrow but from Thursday on I have no clue when I am working. Knowing her we won’t know the schedule until less than 24 hours before the next scheduled week. The owner and office manager know about this, they’ve talked with her about it, and things got better temporarily but she gets “busy” and forgets and it’s back to the same BS. I know it’s not illegal to do this, I’ve looked it up. There are a few states and cities where there is a law now, Seattle made it a law that employers must give 14 days notice of schedule. But I’m not in Seattle,…

Tired of getting lectured for things I was never trained on.

I work at a large company selling slabs of granite, marble, and quartz for countertops. I started working here in September last year. I still have alot to learn but I just started with transfers and one of the front pages didn't bill out. I didn't know we weren't shipping from us and we shipped with a different shipper. That's why the page didnt print. Why doesn't lqqqqoesn't anyone say anything?? Like how was I supposed to know. And here's the manager of the warehouse and manager of the store lecturing me on something I had no clue about. I told them “how am I supposed to know that when it's the first I'm hearing of it?” They then said just ask because every transfer has a different shipper with an exception to 3 places we ship to ourselves. This is getting on my nerves and this isn't the first…

Time theft does not exist.

Time is not money. All time is, is the best solution that humanity has of making sense of its perception of its place in the universe. It is a wholly insufficient as a way to frame productivity and outputs. If you waste half a day procrastinating you are not actually stealing company time. You are subconsciously making sense of your existence. That's all. That's hugely important to your long term well being and productivity at work. Source: wasting time by posting on Reddit

Are we in need of an economic collapse?

With wages barely budging and prices on the shelves going out of control people we have having to choose between food, bills, rent, etc. Even if inflation slows the prices will not come down it's already set. Wages, especially in my state, will not go up. The government refuses to step in and stop this price gouging that is rendering people to starve or end up on the streets. Before you could predict in good faith what was going to happen a few years into the future, now it's chaos.
