Got covid, then a 13 day work week
I got covid last week, and with the new schedule out, I won't be out until mid next week. I talked to my manager about potentially getting a day off, and he said, “Everyone had to cover for you last week so.” I'm back to work, so it should be regularly scheduled programming. I feel guilty for calling out, but it seems like it might be my only option for getting a day off. I work in a fairly busy restaurant as one of the cooks.
I can’t fucking afford more eggs. Eggs are a minimum of $4.99 and at most $13.99 for the local organic ones. I get the cheapest eggs. I try to use them to make other recipes more calorically efficient (more calories for less money), and being 4 eggs down literally has fucked up my budget. I can’t make the thing that will feed me for several days unless I sacrifice my “sad” dinners (dinners that I don’t want to be premade because I have eating issues). Idk what I’m going to do. Well, I do, which is eating buttered potatoes for the 4 days that I don’t have eggs because my brain won’t let me use my other ingredients unless I have fucking eggs. Having eating disorder issues while being poor is something that doesn’t get talked about enough. Eggs are my safe food, because they USED to be nutritious and…

I really don't know what I should do, I've been doing DoorDash deliveries to help me out and one day I wanted to try the fast cash out feature but was unable to for some reason. I reached out to the help chat just to figure out why but the agent decided they wanted to process my next payout by the next day while simultaneously reversing every other payout I had from them putting me instantly negative. I contacted them right away (December 29th is when my money was taken away) and to this day I'm told “24-48 hours” every time I call them which is almost daily now. They said they would have the escalation team call me but they haven't called ( its been 1 week) and they won't connect me with them. What should I do?
Boss yelling
My boss just yelled at my coworker (senior coworker) in front of me and in front of his own (boss's) child (possibly the actual reason he's mad, needing to take him to work). They got into a 10 minute yelling match. I've never seen him yell like that (I've been here for over a year, my coworker said he hasn't yelled like this ever before) he was yelling at her about his own (boss's) mistakes, misunderstandings, and over expectations. I froze because of PTSD, but now everyone is angry, hurt and upset. Speaking of firing everyone and quitting. Not sure what to do. I'm going to continue working, but the atmosphere is oppressive.
For context: I'm 24, live in Illinois, US and work for a 3PL contractor in a warehouse. Here's the story. 12/19 I was rear-ended on my way to work. I'm positive I suffered from a mild concussion and whiplash. I didn't seek medical attention because from my research those are self-diagnonsible and there's not much a doctor will do for you anyway. My medical benefits aren't great and I already have debts that I can't pay from my insurance. I kept my direct supervisor and the HR rep on my shift updated multiple times a day through the first week. I ended up missing the entire week leading up to Christmas because of intense migraines and inability to move my neck (I operate heavy machinery for my job). Despite asking multiple times what kind of documentation I needed to remain in good standing and asking if I could use my…
