I don't know where the idea comes from that younger people were supposed to be paying in for older people. That was never the plan. As a boomer, I paid a percentage of my paycheck every year for 40 years, regardless of which country I was in. This money was supposed to be invested for us, and towards the end of our lives, that investment was supposed to have matured, and from that, payments were supposed to be made to boomers. If the younger people were supposed to be paying for the older people, why would older people have spent 40 or 50 years paying into government retirements funds? When young people pay for old people, that's a pyramid scheme! Someone once told me that the government raided the retirement scheme, and that's why younger people are now forced to pay for older people. That is disgusting!

I’m sick of having to “be there on time” and having to wait till it’s “time to leave”. I hate that. Just like any other job, I am put in a…
For reference, if anyone reading is familiar with GMP, it's the FDA guidelines for safe drug manufacturing. You don't change shit because you're “the smartest person in the room “. But he does. I hit a wall. I was mostly sober until then. And he ran me into the ground. “Nobody wants to work”. Lol. Nobody wants to work FOR YOU idiots. And IM the alcoholic asshole. Whatever. I'm just glad I held out so I can file unemployment instead of them trying to get me to resign. Thanks for reading
Yeah…that actually makes sense…
This is absolutely red flags right?
Just talking with a coworker tonight about the nonsense last minute overtime and how I got into it with my boss when I explained that the pay offered, overtime or not, wouldn't cover the late fees from my daycare so I would not be staying late. And woof… I knew it was bad but this bad?
