So I work i tax prep as an Enrolled Agent. I make okay money. I work at McDonalds and I only get to pee once a shift and I’ve been holding it for almost 4 hours. I finally got to use the restroom but I think I have a UTI because it felt uncomfortable to pee… (I’ve been trying to drink at least 64 oz of water a day so I need to pee every 2-3 hours.)

My company is shifting to 2 factor auth through Duo Security. They are telling us to download the app to our cell phones. They do pay us a $100/month technology allowance to be used for cell phones/internet as we see fit. It is a requirement for us to use our personal cell phones for calling/texting as most positions are remote. My employees are pushing back a bit, saying it is their personal phone and they don’t want to download an app when they don’t know what that app is actually going to be doing. To be honest, I don’t feel 100% comfortable either but my bosses response when I questioned it was “it is what it is”. Is this a legit ask? Has anyone used this app before for work on their personal device? Does it do any sort of tracking of phone activity?

First, I'd like to state that the stock market is absolutely disgusting, as the only way anyone really makes money on it is when companies exploit their employees and customers. That being said, I say we could buy a very small amount of cheap stock in a few smaller publically traded companies and during their Quarterly Earnings Call Q&A session we submit questions (I think we'd only need 1 share each to participate), and up vote the questions like crazy together so they have to answer them; questions like: “When will [Company XYZ] give a significant wage increase, at least equal to or above this year's inflation rate, to the employees who produce all your wealth?” “Why don't your employees have healthcare as an option?” “Why do many of your employees struggle to live on what they're paid?” Etc. Looking for some guidance or insight. I work at a manufacturing facility and manage a small team. it's come to my attention while auditing processes that we are missing a ton (majority) of your SDS. A SDS includes information such as the properties of each chemical; the physical, health, and environmental hazards Route cause is turnover in our safety department and covid related structure changes. Brought it to the attention of the correct personal and although I consider this of the highesy priority as workers in multiple sites cannot access SDS it is taking a long time to get resolved. My team handles materials and identifies materials on the dock and without proper safety documentation handling of materials cannot be done safely in my opinion.
